What are PVC monomer stickers?

A monomer sticker is an economy class sticker, suitable for indoor use for up to 5-10 years and outdoor use for up to one year. Sticker properties: made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride), it is a rigid, homogeneous plastic, inelastic, not resistant to cold (it starts to crack), high heat (it starts to shrink, wave) and UV rays (it starts to fade). When used indoors, its service life is quite long, its properties and appearance do not change. The thickness of a monomer sticker usually reaches about 100 microns (0.1 mm). It can also be laminated with a transparent sticker, which will protect the printing ink and provide a longer service life. A monomer sticker is recommended for flat surfaces, as it bounces off curved surfaces when shrinking. After one year, its shrinkage can reach 3-5 mm. Perfect for producing short-term advertisements.

What are polymer stickers?

Polymer sticker is a high-quality sticker suitable for indoor use up to 10 years and outdoor use up to 3-5 years. Sticker properties: made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride), it is a rigid and elastic plastic, resistant to cold and high heat (excellent stretch) and UV rays (depending on the type of sticker). The service life is long, the properties and appearance remain unchanged (except if not UV-resistant). The thickness of the polymer sticker is usually about 80 microns (0.08 mm). It can also be laminated with a transparent polymer sticker, which will protect the printing ink and provide a longer service life. The polymer sticker is perfect for embossed surfaces, large-format prints, and vehicle wrapping. After one year, its shrinkage can reach 1-2 mm. Perfect for producing long-term advertisements.
